Join the adventure!

Country of the Week has been guiding families on global adventures since 2017. Our family joined the journey in 2021, after attempting to navigate the world on our own, but found it challenging to keep up with the extensive research and sift through all the noise! With a subscription to Country of the Week, we can now easily embark on a curated weekly exploration of one of the 200 countries worldwide, all from our own home. This experience has fostered stronger family bonds, ignited new interests, and brought about numerous unexpected moments of joy.

Dave and his family started Country of the Week in 2017. Our family had the same idea in 2021 and then discovered a few months in that someone had already done it all! Every week, we explore one of the 200 countries of the world, from the comfort of our Canadian home. We have experienced more family-bonding, new passions, and many surprisingly joyful moments.

If you're tired of the non-stop negative headlines, join us and families from around the world as we push against the daily news cycle and learn a little something incredible about every country on earth.

Hours of fun & learning, for the entire family

"This program is beyond amazing. My favourite experience to date with this amazing program...in the summer we were at a craft market and I was speaking to a man who made lotion. He was from Ghana. Easton heard that, walked over to him, and said “Maakye (Maa- chi)” which is hello in Ghanaian. He remembered it from Country of the week earlier that spring!"
